Introducing The Sunday School Lesson:
It sounded like a wonderful turn of events. Tom had just been notified that he was the sole heir of a distant, long-forgotten relative who had left to him a grand hotel in a tourist hot spot. When he arrived, however, he found that the hotel was in disrepair, the management corrupt, and the staff lazy. After having been there for a while, he received notice that back taxes were due. The existence of this once great dream was in peril.

This week’s lesson focuses on king Jehoshaphat; in many ways, his predicament was similar to Tom’s. However, Jehoshaphat also set ab example of how a godly leader should handle difficult situations through loyal trust in God.
